Ska Brewing Co. was founded in 1995 by Bill Graham and Dave Thibodeau in Durango, Colorado. Graham and Thibodeau were both homebrewers who were passionate about ska music. They started Ska Brewing Co. with the goal of creating beers that were as fun and flavorful as the music they loved.
Ska Brewing Co. quickly became a popular brewery in Durango, and its beers began to be distributed to other parts of Colorado. In 2008, Ska Brewing Co. moved to its current location in the Bodo Industrial Park in Durango. The new brewery was much larger than the original brewery and allowed Ska Brewing Co. to expand its production and distribution.
Today, Ska Brewing Co. is one of the most popular craft breweries in Colorado, and its beers are distributed to over 30 states. Ska Brewing Co. is known for its wide variety of beers, which includes everything from IPAs and lagers to stouts and sours. Ska Brewing Co. also brews a number of seasonal and limited release beers.

Mexican Logger

Rent Ska's Event Space
If you’re in search of a unique event space, look no further than Ska Brewing! The second-floor event space is now available for rent, offering a distinctive and artistic atmosphere. Featuring the captivating artwork of Nan Coffey, this space can accommodate moderately sized groups of up to 50 people.
The layout includes seating for 32 guests at the high-top tables, along with an additional 20 seats overlooking the first-floor tasting room from a bar-style mezzanine. You’ll have access to a private bartender serving from the second-floor bar, equipped with 5 taps featuring the most popular brews. You can also enjoy the full range of beers, including exclusive brews only found at Ska World HQ, along with craft cocktails from Peach Street Distillery.
‘GLUTEN-REDUCED’ & ‘GLUTEN-FREE’
When it comes to Ska Beers, Ska Brewing wants you to know the facts about gluten content. The beers are brewed with barley, a gluten-based ingredient, and as a result, they’re not classified as “gluten-free.”
In the United States, any product made with an ingredient containing gluten at any stage of production cannot be labeled as “gluten-free.” However, in the European Union, products can bear the “gluten-free” label if they contain less than 20ppm of gluten in the final product. Thanks to the meticulous brewing process, the non-hazy beers are specially crafted to reduce gluten levels. For instance, True Blonde, Ska Lager, and the Mexican Logger are considered ‘gluten-reduced’ and contain less than 20ppm of gluten.
In short, while Ska Beers are not gluten-free, the non-hazy beers have lower gluten levels. Keep in mind that individual sensitivity to gluten varies, so exercise caution accordingly.
